GEAR
I’m often asked about the equipment I use.
I like budget guitars from the 1950s and 60s. They provide idiosyncratic sounds that are an alternative to more well known brands such as Gibson or Fender.
Guitars I’m currently playing include the Supro Lockola model, a Supro Dual Tone, and a Silvertone 1454.
Amps I use include a Fender Deluxe, a Silvertone 1484 and the Univox U45B. I avoid pedals. Nothing against them, they’re just wrong for my sound. I try to keep things simple.
I recommend using Divine Noise cables, manufactured by a mom and pop operation out of Portland OR. They’re well made, sturdy and reliable. Support the little guy!
